Shipping & Delivery

Unless otherwise requested, Barakat Gallery uses USPS or FedEx to ship pieces. We make every effort to ship items with 48 hours of receiving payment. Typical delivery times range from 3 to 10 business days, depending on size and destination. International customers are responsible for all duties and taxes. All shipping and insurance charges will be billed to the purchaser.

Returns & Replacements
Online and In store purchases
All sales are final. No cash refunds may be made, however, full credit for exchange is indefinitely allowed on all objects purchased from our galleries with the exception of a few consigned items. Items may only be returned in case of online misrepresentation or lack of authenticity. Any claim of misrepresentation must be made within fifteen (15) days of order receipt, along with proof of test results, expert reports, etc. Item must be returned in its original condition. If an item arrives damaged due to shipping, Barakat Gallery must be contacted within 2 days with a full description of the damages.

Lack of Authenticity
Barakat Gallery guarantees the authenticity and ownership history of every item. Any claim disputing authenticity must be made in writing by the original purchaser upon discovering the lack of authenticity. The original purchaser must return the item to Barakat Gallery, along with proof of test results and expert reports, in the same condition and state as it was received.

Payment and Pricing
All items are offered subject to prior sale. All prices are subject to change without notice, however, if the prce is currently listed on the website at the time customer wishes to purchase, that price will be guaranteed. The following credit cards are honored: American Express, Visa, Mastercard. Direct wire transfers and purchases by check are also accepted. A deferred payment plan is available, however, title remains with Barakat Gallery until payment is made in full.
Auction Guidelines
The property in this online auction is offered for sale by Barakat Gallery for itself and as an agent for other consignors. All items are guaranteed genuine. Please note that an auction sale is not an approval sale. Lots may be returned only if misrepresented in either description or authenticity. Bidding is only open to those who have registered for the electronic auction and have been authorized to bid by Barakat Gallery. Invoices are due and payable immediately upon receipt by check, credit card, or wire transfer. Estimates and bids are in U.S. dollars (US$), and bids must be in even dollar amounts. Barakat Gallery places an estimate and an opening price on each lot. These estimates are intended as a guide only and not as a statement of value. Once a bid is placed, only a member of Barakat Gallery may cancel the bid. Bidders are responsible for errors in bidding.
