To celebrate his victories in Dacia, Trajan rode through the streets of Rome adorned with rich gold and brilliant jewels. As a token of his triumph, he erected the splendid victory column that still awes visitors to Rome today. Centuries later, Trajan’s imperial image is once again surrounded by opulent luxury, a dazzling display of richness and beauty. Any age– past or present– would recognize it as a treasure. The person who wears this one-of-a-kind creation is certain to enjoy a triumph as great as Trajan’s own. – (FJ.3226)
