Barakat Seoul cordially invites you to join us for our 2018 inaugural exhibition Beauty is in the eyes of the Beholder with a selection of Fayez Barakat’s latest paintings

Opening: Tuesday 6th March 2018, from 6.00 – 8.00 pm

Fayez Barakat is a distinguished and world-renowned collector, whose passion for beauty and eclectically wise choices have made him one of the most important collector of ancient art in the world. Fayez also happens to be an equally passionate painter, having developed a unique aesthetic sense through a personal, almost intimate, communication with thousands of ancient artworks. Fayez’s paintings manage to appropriate the inspiration from such intense private experiences into a bold combination of colors, in an independent pursuit to capture the essence of art beyond all historical eras and cultural boundaries.

The Fayez Barakat 2018 solo exhibition will be simultaneously held to a presentation of ancient Greek and Roman handcrafted coin jewellery.

Since its creation, Barakat Seoul has successfully found and preserved the perfect balance connecting ancient to contemporary art, intentionally crossing cultural borders, while promoting their vision to create a new perspective on art and culture in general.

Both exhibitions will continue until the 15th of April
