This is a truly delightful and somewhat quirky object of the remains of a small male marble sculpture. Although only his extremities survive, the piece is still aesthetically pleasing and entertaining. The feet appear natural, even the toenails have been carved, and the placement upon their podium would suggest that the left knee would have been bent, thus making the torso contraposto, a favourite pose of this time period.
