JB. 1362: Small bottle, free-blown green glass with globular body, with a deep concave base with pontil mark; the short cylindrical neck terminates in an everted flat rim. Iran or Iraq, Sasanian period, late 3rd – early 7th century. Ht. 11cm; Top diam. 3.1cm; Base diam. 6cm. Comparative material: Fukai, op.cit., no.34. It is identified as a possible ointment vase, discovered in Gilan Province and dated to between the 3rd and 7th century. Prof. Geza Fehervari Prof. Geoffrey King – (JB.1362)
