The obverse of this bell krater depicts a draped lady lifting a lamp to the top of a candelabra in the centre. To the left a seated draped female holds a candelabra with attached fillet in her right hand. Seated upright on a high backed chair this elegant woman wears a wreath upon her head. To the far right a bearded, naked male holds his right hand over his head while his left clutches a tambourine. The figures are flanked on both sides by a palmette design. The laurel motif runs beneath the rim and the meander above the base. The reverse is plain except for the continuation of the laurel and meander motifs.
